The person who enters Jannah last, the one with the lowest rank, will be given the equivalent of this entire world—and then ten times more. And this is the lowest level of Jannah. So just imagine what the highest level could be like.Today, we will explore every level of Jannah: its eight gates, its hundred levels, and what lies within them. And finally, we will talk about that one thing in front of which the people of Jannah will forget their gardens, palaces, and rivers. Stay until the end, because the final point is something most people do not expect. All of this matters because we spend our entire lives chasing incomplete desires.

We think, “If I get a house, I will find peace.” Then we get the house, but peace still does not come. We think, “If I have money, I will be happy,” but then we realize we have no time. And whatever we gain in this world can eventually be taken away.Jannah is the one place where everything is found.Jannah has eight gates, and these are not ordinary gates. According to a hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari, the distance between the two sides of a gate of Jannah is like the distance between Makkah and Basra. And the beautiful thing is that each gate is associated with particular righteous deeds. There is a gate for those who regularly prayed, a gate for those who fasted, known as Bab Ar-Rayyan, a gate associated with charity, and a gate associated with striving in the cause of Allah. In another hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari, Abu Bakr (RA) once asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, “O Messenger of Allah, will there be anyone who will be called through all of these gates?”The Prophet ﷺ replied that there would be, and he expressed hope that Abu Bakr would be among them.Just imagine: entering through even one gate of Jannah is an incredible honor. Yet there will be people who will be called from every gate. Now let us go beyond the gates.Jannah is not just one place. It has levels. According to Sahih al-Bukhari, there are 100 levels in Jannah, and the distance between two levels is like the distance between the heavens and the earth. One level is more beautiful than the one below it. The Prophet ﷺ also taught us that when we ask Allah for Jannah, we should ask for Al-Firdaws, because it is among the highest and best levels of Jannah, and above it is the Throne of the Most Merciful. From it, the rivers of Jannah flow.So from today, whenever you make dua, do not simply ask for Jannah. Ask Allah for Jannatul-Firdaws. If you are going to ask, why not ask for the highest? Now remember what we started with.If there are 100 levels, what will the lowest level contain? What will the last person to enter Jannah receive?According to Sahih Muslim, the person with the lowest rank in Jannah will receive something equal to this entire world—and ten times more.Pause for a moment and think about that. All the oceans, mountains, cities, wealth, and everything humans have accumulated in this world—imagine all of it being given to one person, and then imagine ten times more than that. And this is the lowest level. If this is the lowest, then what could Al-Firdaws be like? Our minds cannot even fully comprehend it.And those who enter Jannah first will have faces shining like the full moon. They will not spit, blow their noses, or experience unpleasantness. Their sweat will have the fragrance of musk. And there will be no hatred or disagreement among them. Their hearts will be united like one heart.Think about it.In this world, some of our greatest pain comes from other people. Someone insults us, someone deceives us, someone talks about us behind our backs. But in Jannah, hearts will be pure and united. Now let us go further inside.Allah describes the rivers of Jannah in Surah Muhammad: rivers of pure water that never become spoiled, rivers of milk whose taste never changes, and rivers of pure and clean honey. But the greatest beauty of Jannah is not simply its gardens and rivers. The real beauty is that whatever your heart desires will be there for you.Think about this world. Every happiness comes with a fear. When we have health, we fear illness. When we have wealth, we fear losing it.When we have loved ones, we fear separation.Jannah is the place where all of these fears disappear. There will be no exhaustion, no illness, no old age, no hatred in anyone’s heart, no fighting, no worries, and most importantly, no regret. Now listen to something that makes Jannah truly eternal.According to Sahih al-Bukhari, when the people of Jannah have entered Jannah and the people of Hell have entered Hell, death will be brought in a form that everyone will see. Then death will be ended, and it will be announced:“O people of Jannah, there is eternity for you now, and there is no more death. And O people of Hell, there is eternity for you now, and there is no more death.”Think about that moment. In this world, every happiness is temporary because death eventually comes. But in Jannah, death will be gone.Whatever you receive there will remain with you forever. However, there is something we must understand.Everything we imagine about Jannah is based on things we know from this world. But the greatest reward of Jannah is not its gardens, palaces, or rivers.According to Sahih Muslim, when the people of Jannah enter Jannah, Allah will ask them whether they want anything more. They will say, “Our Lord, have You not brightened our faces? Have You not admitted us into Jannah and saved us from Hell? What more could we ask for?”Then the veil will be lifted, and they will see their Lord. And the hadith teaches that nothing given to them will be more beloved to them than seeing their Lord.Pause here. All the blessings of Jannah will be before them, yet the vision of their Lord will be more beloved to them than all of those blessings.Allah says in Surah Al-Qiyamah:“On that Day, some faces will be radiant, looking toward their Lord.”This is what the righteous longed for—not merely gardens or palaces, but the honor of seeing their Lord. Now the question is: How can we attain all of this?Look at the mercy of Allah. He has made the path accessible. It is narrated that whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every obligatory prayer, there is nothing standing between them and Jannah except death.Think about it: five times a day, a small act that takes only a short time. And there is also a hadith in Jami` at-Tirmidhi stating that whoever asks Allah for Jannah three times, Jannah says:“O Allah, admit him into Jannah.”So keep asking Allah for Jannah. And in Sahih Muslim, it is narrated that whoever regularly performs twelve units of voluntary prayer in a day and night will have a house built for them in Jannah.Think about it.In this world, people spend their entire lives working and taking loans just to own a house. But Allah can grant a house in Jannah through these voluntary prayers.Along with all of this, keep your heart clean, keep your tongue gentle, and treat people well.Because Jannah is not just about outward actions. We should also work on the condition of our hearts. So finally, think about one thing:How much are we doing for this temporary world? We study for years for one job.We spend our entire lives working for a house. We chase money and possessions—all for a world that will eventually leave us.But Jannah is a place with countless blessings, where death ends, where there are things no eye has ever seen, and where believers will have the honor of seeing their Lord.So how much are we doing for Jannah?Allah has made the path accessible:Five daily prayers. A pure heart. A gentle tongue. And constantly asking Allah for Jannah.Start today. After every prayer, recite Ayat al-Kursi, and ask Allah throughout the day:“O Allah, grant me Jannatul-Firdaws.”May Allah grant all of us Jannatul-Firdaws. Ameen.
